Abstract

High-temperature absorption spectroscopy is used to study the effect of temperature in the range 550–750°C and the cation composition of a solvent salt on the spectroscopic characteristics and stability of MoCl63− complex ions in melts based on alkali metal chlorides (LiCl; CsCl; LiCl-KCl, NaCl-CsCl, KCl-CsCl, and NaCl-KCl-CsCl eutectic mixtures; and equimolar NaCl-KCl mixture).
