Abstract
As in the today's scenario electric load increases on the existing power system as the electric vehicles load are also added in the system and stability problem arises. Both type of load active and reactive are increases in the system and sometime even causes black out. In this paper Stability margin at critical value under maximum loading limit are analysed by using continuous power flow method. Maximum loading limit at each load bus are applied and their effects on voltage variation and power factor are analysed in detail to improve the stability problem. A modified IEEE39 bus system used to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. Once the stability margin under maximum loading limits are calculated it would be easier to control the load before reaching to critical point and system would not collapse.
