Abstract
In this paper, we study the problems of stability and L2-gain for impulsive switched systems by constructing an appropriate Lyapunov function and using average dwell-time (ADT) method. Some sufficient conditions for exponential stability (ES) and L2-gain of impulsive switched systems are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), where the stabilizing impulses and destabilizing impulses are considered, respectively. A relationship among the ADT conditions, impulses, and the decay or growth of system trajectories is established, where two cases are considered: unstable subsystems with stabilizing impulses and stable subsystems with destabilizing impulses. Two illustrative examples are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed results.
