Abstract

A rigorous formulation is presented for nominal and robust stability analysis of closed-loop linear, time-invariant, single-input single-output systems using Nichols charts. This formulation is based on the Nyquist stability criterion, a simplified criterion that uses the notion of crossings and the properties of the mapping from the complex plane to the Nichols chart. >
