Abstract

This paper deals with the problem of stability analysis for a class of continuous-time switched positive T–S fuzzy systems by using mode-dependent average dwell time (MDADT) switching signals. The switched positive T–S fuzzy systems consist of both stable and unstable positive T–S fuzzy subsystems. Based on the multiple linear copositive Lyapunov function (MLCLF) and MDADT methods, a simple sufficient condition of stability for switched positive T–S fuzzy systems is first derived to guarantee the exponential stability of the systems, and the obtained condition is formulated in terms of linear programming. Finally, a numerical example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
