Abstract
As the board range of utilization of power electronics, more and more power converters are connected in parallel through a series of passive filters. Some reports have shown that this kind of converter system will have stability and resonance problems. In micro-grid system and some testing benches for power converters, voltage source converters with LC filters and current source converters with LCL filters are usually interconnected in series. This new operating condition is quite different from the conventional one where the power grid have strong impacts. Therefore, the stability and resonance problems in the series-connected converter system with coupled LCL and LC filters are still need to be discovered. This paper will put focus on this issue and a testing bench has been built to verify the studies.
