Abstract
The reaction of [CpCr(CO) 3 ] 2 with P 4 Se 3 at ambient temperature produced Cp 4 Cr 4 (CO) 8 (P 2 Se 2 ), a tetrachromium complex possessing an unusual “open-book” structure.
