Abstract
St. Patrick's Day Sally Van Doren (bio) I've been dreaming about the deadlately, one old friend long deadand another old friend only deadto me through lack of recent communication. Dad's birthdayis coming up and I wonder howhe will welcome Mom. (At 90, shewill soon celebrate her tenth wedding anniversary with his college roommate.)My guess is they will be glad to seeeach other and he will hold nogrudge against her for holding onto his old friend. I like to imaginehim giving her a hug that will meltaway her present knee and shoulderpains. All aches gone. All debts forgiven.
