Abstract
Flow visualizations by means of oil-flow and smoke were conducted to investigate aerodynamic characteristics of an SST model at high angles of attack. Compared flow visualization results with force and surface pressure measurements, vortex flows over the wing surface were analyzed. Flows were observed on an SST model with leading-edge flap or trailing-edge flap deflection also.
