Abstract

Polymer has low migration ability of photogenerated carriers under photoexcitation, which severely limits the photocatalytic application. In this paper, S-type polyimide aerogel/Bi4O5I2 (tPIA/BOI) heterojunction photocatalysts under internal electric field are prepared by supercritical ethanol drying and in-situ solvothermal method. The large surface area (42.381 m2/g) and excellent hydrophilicity (64.11°) can provide more active sites for photocatalytic reactions and better dispersion in solution, which are conducive to the photodegradation of pollutants. The removal rate of tPIA/BOI on tetracycline (TC) aqueous solution can reach 91.3 %, and the photodegradation rate is 31 and 2 times than that of original tPIA and BOI. The internal electric field is generated by the matching of tPIA and BOI, which optimizes the separation and transfer of electron-hole pairs. Besides, the range of light absorption is expanded, thus greatly improving the degradation efficiency of the catalyst.
