Abstract
The morning session of the SRP Conference on Land Remediation - Liabilities and Practicalities, held at the Scientific Societies Lecture Theatre in London on the 19 January 2000, concerned the legal background relating to liability for radioactively contaminated land and the development of standards for remediation. The chairman of this session was Mr David Bennett (Environment Agency).
