Abstract
This study investigated the biomass content of fluff type SRF(Solid refuse fuel) operated in B city and GHG(Greenhouse gas) emission were calculated and compared during incineration and landfill treatment. The results biomass content of SRF is 24.9 %~58.0 %, with an average of 42.6 %. As a result of calculating GHG emissions based on landfill and incineration, excluding non-biomass, it was calculated as 13,475.2 (t CO2eq/yr) and 23,301.1 (t CO2-eq/yr). When burning the biomass contained in SRF, it has the effect of reducing greenhouse gas emissions during landfill based on carbon neutrality. Therefore, it is effective to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by sorting and converting biodegradable wastes into resources.
