Abstract
The new multicomponent sulfide material of Sr2ZnS3 composition was synthesized using combination of soft solution process and high-pressure synthesis. Its crystal structure belongs to K2AgI3 type. The Eu(II)-activated phosphor emits golden-yellow light under excitation by blue or near-UV radiation.
