Abstract

Some new results concerning the behaviour of squeezed single-mode light interacting with a two-phonon amplifier are presented. The squeezing and sub-poissonian features are found to be eventually revoked. The two-photon device induces a phase shift when operating over squeezed light, although it leaves unaltered the average phase of coherent light.
