Abstract
The newly constructed single-complex-variable state vector set for the two-dimensional harmonic oscillator in Fock space is employed to derive the normal-ordered one-mode and two-mode squeeze operators. The derivation is mathematically concise and physically appealing since the squeezing property is manifest from the outset. Throughout the discussion, the IWOP (integration within ordered product) technique is fully used.
