Abstract

Through a questionnaire survey on two groups of poor students and non-poor students, SPSS data analysis was used to explore the two groups' attitudes of poor students' consumption on daily diet, clothing, and mobile phones. The study found that poor students do not believe that they should be lower than non-poor students in terms of the above consumption, however, in actual consumption behavior, whether it is daily dietary consumption or the consumption of clothing, etc., they are all lower than non-poor students. This shows the poor students' pursuit of fairness in cognition and self-consciousness in behavior. According to the field theory, the reason for this difference in cognition and behavior is the field pressure on the campus where poor students live. Based on an in-depth analysis of the college field where poor students are located, a caring strategy that can be given to the poor students is proposed.
