Abstract

Titanium di oxide films were deposited by spray pyrolysis technique on ITO coated glass substrates at different substrate temperatures in the range of 375οC - 450 οC. The films were post heat treated in air for 1 hour. Resistivity of the films was in the range of meghohms. Annealing in vacuum decreased the resistivity by three orders. Band gap of the films decreased from 3.45 eV to 3.20 eV with increase of substrate temperarture. Dye sensitized solar cells were fabricated with hibiscus, strawberry and chlorophyll dyes and combination of the three dyes. The photooutput was highest for the combination of dyes and lowest for the hibiscus dyes
