Abstract

ABSTRACT This article specifies five (5) risk assessment principles pertaining to spousal assault. The authors argue that these principles, if properly implemented, can facilitate the management of offenders in a variety of civil and criminal mental health and justice contexts. In addition, the authors contend that following these principles will aid professionals called upon to perform spousal assault risk assessment.
