Abstract


 The sports professional contract is one of the most important contracts in circulation at the present time, due to the large number of its conclusion. To provide a specific work in the field of sports, such as contracts concluded with players, coaches, or with professional administrators in the field of sports.This contract is concluded between the professional athlete and the sports institution, which pays a sum of money to the professional athlete in exchange for providing his services to the institution, and he is also obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the information that the professional athlete obtains on the occasion of the concluded contract.The importance of the research: The importance of the study comes through explaining the concept of the sports professional contract and defining its legal nature, as well as defining the obligations incurred by the two parties, and thus to reach a model contract that is used as a context in all sports contracts and then achieve legal protection for each of the parties to the contract.Research methodology: In our study, we will follow the analytical approach to analyze the texts of the law of sports professionalism, with reference to the opinions of legal jurisprudence in this regard.The research plan: Our topic marked (professional sports contract) was divided into three demands. We will address in the first requirement the concept of a professional sports contract. This requirement, in turn, divided it into two branches. We dealt in the first section with the definition of the contract. The second section for its characteristics. As for the second requirement, we devoted it to studying the legal nature of the professional sports contract. As for the third and final requirement, we will discuss the obligations of the sports professional contract, and we will divide it into two branches.
