Abstract

In article number 2102607, Jong Ho Won, In Hwan Jung, and co-workers report ultrafast-response organic photodetectors (OPDs) by making bulk heterojunction photoconductive layer composed of a novel conjugated polymer donor and fullerene acceptor. The non-halogenated xylene-processed OPDs exhibit significantly improved static and dynamic properties. These superior OPD properties were achieved by spontaneously induced hierarchical arrangement between donor and acceptor due to differences in interfacial energies.
