Abstract
In this issue of <i>Chem</i>, Che and co-workers assessed the formation of the helical structure of CdS@CdSe nanorods without the use of chiral reagents. Spontaneous chiral symmetry breaking occurred in the chiral CdSe@CdS nanorod assemblies, which was probably caused by the majority rule.
