Abstract

SUMMARY Basal cell carcinomas are the most common form of malignant eyelid tumors and occur frequently in the medial canthus. Repair of the resulting defect by spontaneous granulation yields a good cosmetic result. This alternative technique provides advantages over skin flaps and grafts.
