Abstract

Although spontaneous pneumothorax was previously not uncommon in rapidly progressive pulmonary tuberculosis, this has not been the experience of the present writers in recent years with modern chemotherapy. Two cases, reported below, are of interest in that respect and also in that they may possibly represent a complication of steroid therapy in rapidly progressive, far advanced, pulmonary tuberculosis.
