Abstract

Two cases of spontaneous pneumothorax in patients who received extended field radiation therapy to the thorax for Hodgkin's disease are presented. Radiation changes in the lung developed in both patients. The mechanism of development of pneumothorax is felt to be similar to that seen in other interstitial fibrotic lung disease.
