Abstract
In neuroscience, these spontaneous brain oscillations are becoming increasingly important as meaningful signals are used to indicate altered brain states or characteristics of brain activity. In this paper, the spontaneous signals were recorded by Optical Imaging (OI) system. Using Fourier transformation and the correlation analysis method, spontaneous oscillations were extracted and analyzed in the intrinsic signals of different cerebral regions (artery, vein, and cortex). After applying anesthesia, we found that the spontaneous oscillation in different regions became more regular and tended to be unified. This unified signal appears as spontaneous low-frequency oscillations (LFO). Spontaneous LFO signals in different regions show a strong correlation at high anesthesia depth.
