Abstract
We present a case of a spontaneous false aneurysm of the radial artery presenting as a rapidly expanding mass within a plexiform neurofibroma in the forearm of a man suffering from type1 neurofibromatosis. We emphasize the importance of it as a differential diagnosis of sarcomatous change of a neurofibroma and we review the literature describing the vascular manifestations of neurofibromatosis.
