Abstract

Spontaneous common bile duct perforations are an unusual cause of acute abdomen. In spontaneous common bile duct perforation, malignant growth is even rare. It is a rare entity usually reported in infants and children due to congenital anomalies. It is rarely reported in adults. In this case report, a 55-year-old male patient who was diagnosed as a duodenal perforation in the pre-operative period, but the intra-operative findings was common bile duct perforation due to periampullary growth, is reported.
