Abstract
In recent years particular attention has been given in the literature to the theoretical study of spontaneous bremsstrahlung by electrons in an external electromagnetic field (cf., for example, [1-4]). Of particular interest is the spontaneous bremsstrahlung related to the mass-shell yield of Green's function of the electron in an external field. Spontaneous bremsstrahlung of an electron at a Coulomb center in the field of an electromagnetic wave was considered in the nonrelativistic case by Lebedev [i] and also by Karapetyan and Fedorov [2]. Compton resonances were not considered in [2], while the resonance cross section in the particular case of small-angle scattering by the electron was obtained in [i]. The nonresonance cross section of spontaneous bremsstrahlung of an electron at a Coulomb center in a plane-wave field was studied in the ultrarelativistic approximation by Borisov et al. in [3], and the resonance cross section with electron--electron collisions was studied in [4].
