Abstract

Arrhythmias is a major risk factor in left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) [6-9] and this is independent of the etiology and may occur whether coronary artery were normal or not. There are few animal models of arrhythmias [3, 10] and the capability of various models of cardiac hypertrophy to produce arrhythmias has been explored for the first time in our laboratory [3].Key Wordsexperimental arrhythmiassupraventricular premature beatsaortic stenosiscardiac hypertrophycardiothyrotoxicosisheart rate variabilityautonomous systemHolter
