Abstract
Spinal anesthesia provides sensorial and motor blockage with administration of small amounts of local anesthetics to the subarachnoid space; this technique is commonly used. Some complications may occur, depending on the method of spinal anesthesia and anesthetic agents. One of the most common neurological complications is radiculopathy caused by intrathecal anesthesia. Spinal anestezi uygulamalarında yönteme ve anestezik maddelere bağlı olarak bir takım komplikasyonlar görülebilmektedir. Spinal anestezi uygulanırken iğnenin ilerletilmesi sırasında sinir hasarı meydana gelebilmektedir. OLGU SUNUMU Otuz iki yaşında erkek hasta öyküsünden sağ inguinal herni nedeniyle opere olduğu ve spinal anestezi uygulanırken elektrik çarpar gibi şiddetli ağrısı olduğu öğrenildi.
