Abstract

Introduction: Split thickness skin grafting (SSG) used in the reconstruction of soft tissue defects for restoration of cosmesis and function. The donor site has always been an area of post-operative morbidity due to scarring, bleeding and pain with associated decreased mobility. We present a method that reduces the donor site size, while having a positive impact on bleeding and pain control.
