Spirituality and care in the Muslim tradition

Abstract

Spirituality in health care in the sense of the Muslim tradition requires inspiration from The Medicine of the Prophet, written by Jalâl ad-Din as-Suyûtî inthe 15th century. A work in line with the principles of the Hippocratic oath. It consists in restoring, preserving or promoting health in all its elements, physical and mental, individual and social.
