Abstract
The article presents the evolution of ceramics in the Cucuteni-Tripolie culture under various aspects: morphological, plastic, symbolic. The plastic decoration analysis is presented according to thematic, chromatic, composition and mode of representation. The most common ornamental motifs on ceramic pots and their significance are mentioned.
