Abstract

The practical procedures course is suitable for doctors at all levels who want to learn how to perform practical procedures in a supportive and relaxed environment. I did the course as a foundation year 2 doctor. Despite my eagerness to learn, I have found few opportunities to practise procedures such as inserting central lines and chest drains.
