Abstract

The temperature dependence of spin-lattice relaxation (SLR) rate constants between the most photoactive sublevel of the crystalline benzyl excited triplet state and two other levels was obtained from phosphorescence decay curves in the conditions of nonstationary spin alignment induced by the pulse optical pumping using the resistance — capacity analogue in the range 6 – 40 K. These two SLR rate constants exhibit different temperature dependences increasing with the third or fourth power of the temperature.
