Abstract
A Green function formalism is employed to investigate the effect of magnetocrystalline anisotropy on surface spin waves in semi-infinite Heisenberg ferromagnets at low temperatures . The dispersion relations are investigated in detail. The density of states (DOS) of surface spin waves and layered magnetizations are also derived.
