Abstract

Spin-wave linewidth Δ H k in a quasi-two-dimensional ferromagnet K 2 CuF 4 has been studied by parallel pumping technique. Wave number dependence of Δ H k from k =0 up to the Brillouin-zone-boundary and temperature dependence of Δ H k ≃0 which is empirically described as Δ H k ≃0 =0.19× T 2.2 Oe at temperatures from 1.2 to 2.2 K are reported. Spin-wave linewidth largely depends on the direction of the static magnetic field applied along the c -plane, which is the easy plane.
