Abstract

Spin-wave (SW)-induced domain wall (DW) motion is investigated in a perpendicularly magnetized system by micromagnetic simulation. We particularly assume simulation parameters for Co/Ni nanowires widely used in the experiment for spin-torque-driven DW motion. It is found that the domain wall moves toward the SW source in a broad frequency range, while it resonantly moves away from the SW source at certain frequencies. Our results indicate that the direction of the DW motion can be controlled by tuning the SW excitation frequency.
