Abstract

We investigate spin squeezing of a Bose-Einstein condensate in an open symmetrical double-well trap with dissipation in the tunneling process, which can be treated as a tunneling-dissipative Bose-Hubbard dimer. Perturbation technique based on the system is applied. Its shown that more squeezing can be achieved by increasing the tunneling rate and the dissipation.
