Abstract

The transverse NMR linewidth of nuclear ordered bcc solid 3 He is measured in the low field phase as a function of applied magnetic field and, temperature and crystal orientation. While analyzing the measured linewidth by using the Tsubota-Tsuneto relaxation term (1), we could separate three kinds of relaxation mechanisms. We also find that the variation of linewidth with the crystal size has a strange dependence on the magnetic field.
