Abstract

In order to clarify the intrinsic relaxation mechanisms in the low field phase of the Nuclear ordered solid 3He, we measured the linewidth of CW-NMR as a function of temperature and external magnetic field for various crystal orientations. We compared our results with three relaxation processes, i.e., the Leggett-Takagi type relaxation process, the three-magnon process and the energy transfer process across domain walls. Our results are affirmative to the Leggett-Takagi type relaxation mechanism among others.
