Abstract

At the present time, a study of the intercellular relations and intercellular contacts has become increasingly important, for the functioning of any multi-cellular organism is impossible without interaction of its cells. The living cell is a basic unit of any living organism; it is capable of metabolism and of the reproduction of its likes. It can be isolated or it may constitute some part of a complex organism. It is a mobile self-regulating system, which is in absolute utter equilibrium with its environment. The functioning of a cell implies a complex of active processes, which are capable of returning the cell to its original state after any deviations from the stationary condition.
