Abstract

Energy-resolved spectroscopy of secondary electrons has been performed on Fe(100) using polarized synchrotron light, and the related spin polarization distribution is presented. Differences are observed between spectra recorded under linearly and circularly polarized light. The influence of the light polarization on the fine structure of the spin polarization of the secondary electrons is analyzed.
