Abstract
We performed low temperature (1.7 or 4K) circularly polarized photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation experiments on two In xGa 1−xAs/AlAs multiple quantum wells. Sample parameters are such that one of them is close to the type I-type II cross over and both the Γ-Γ and X-Γ optical transitions are observed. In the second sample one monolayer interwell fluctuations account for the recorded spectral features.
