Abstract
Magnetic susceptibility, magnetization and electrical resistivity measurements reveal magnetic spin-glass (SG) and reentrant SG (para- ⇒ ferromagnetism ⇒ SG) behaviour in the stoichiometric compounds UCuSi and UCuGe, respectively. A preliminary magnetic phase diagram has been proposed for reentrant ferromagnets UCu x Ge with 0.85 ≤ x ≤ 1.00 and antiferromagnetic phases UCuGe y with 0.800 ≤ y ≤ 0.997.
