Abstract

The 63Cu and 17O NMR shift, T 1 and T 2G values measured in oriented Tl 2Ba 2CaCu 2O 8−δ sample (Tc = 112 K) are reported. From analysis of these data in a frame of MMP model[1] we estimated the characteristic energy of spin fluctuation Γ Q, and the magnetic correlation length ζ. The latter was approximately the same as reported for YBa 2Cu 3O 7, but Γ Q is markedly larger compared with YBa 2Cu 3O 7 and its magnitude grows with lowering the temperature. Probably the high Tc values in this class of superconductors is related to large value of Γ Q which could be considered as a strong argument in favour of spin fluctuation mediated superconductivity. A similar conclusion has been done earlier for Tl 2Ba 2CaCu 2O 8−δ by Zheng et al. [2].
