Abstract

Based on the spin fluctuation theory, we propose a way to analyse the magnetic properties of nearly ferromagnetic metals by introducing quantities corresponding to the saturation magnetization in the ground state and the Curie temperature for weak ferromagnets. We also show how to evaluate the spin fluctuation parameters from experiments. As an example, magnetic properties of paramagnetic Y(Co1-xAlx)2 are discussed.
