Abstract
The authors generalize Polyakov's spin factor for the massive spin-1/2 particle to the massless and the O(N)-extended cases. They show that the N>or=2 spin factors are N-fold tensor products of the N=1 spin factor, and they find a simple relationship between the spin factors for the massive and massless cases.
