Abstract
Diffusion and relaxation of conduction electrons is studied without making the usual approximation that the spin-orbit scattering be smaller than the impurity potential scattering. Renormalization of impurity vertices by the electron-electron interaction reduces the potential, enhances the s-d, but does not affect the spin-orbit scattering cross-section.
