Abstract

The experimental resistivity \ensuremath{\rho} and thermopower S of liquid manganese have been interpreted within the framework of the extended Ziman formalism for both spin-independent and spin-dependent potentials. It appears that the spin-polarized treatment leads to results in much better agreement with the experimental values than the classical spin-independent approach.
